membership guidelines

The Clutch Collective is a community built around learning, connection, and a shared commitment to equity and social justice. Being part of the Collective means helping create a space where athletes can ask questions, challenge themselves, and show up authentically.

AS MEMBERS, WE COMMIT TO:

  • Treating one another and the communities we engage with with respect and dignity

  • Supporting equity, inclusion, and social justice

  • Listening to and learning from people and communities most impacted by the issues we engage with

  • Approaching conversations with curiosity, good faith, and a willingness to learn

  • Taking accountability when we get something wrong

  • Respecting the privacy and trust of other members

WE DON'T TOLERATE:

  • Harassment, discrimination, threats, or targeted harm

  • Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or other forms of dehumanizing or discriminatory behavior

  • Deliberately using Clutch Collective spaces or relationships to target, intimidate, or harm others

  • Misrepresenting Clutch Collective or another member's views as your own

ACCOUNTABILITY

We know that learning, disagreement, and mistakes are part of being in community. Accountability isn't about expecting perfection.

When concerns arise, the Clutch Collective may respond with conversation and education, boundaries around participation, paused membership, or — when necessary — removal from the Collective.
